Go Green is a nitrogen tire inflation system that provides the benefits of high-purity nitrogen, longer tire life, better fuel economy, and improved safety.

Nitrogen is inert, non-combustible, and non-corrosive. It maintains tire pressure longer than oxygen. Compared to nitrogen molecules, oxygen molecules in compressed air are smaller and leak out three to four times faster.

 

 

Compressed air is your tire’s worst enemy. Air is about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% other.  Oxygen contributes to the deterioration of rubber and other tire materials.  The effects of “oxidation” begin to deteriorate the rubber as soon as the tire is manufactured. Over time, it loses its elasticity and strength just like an old rubber band. This same process occurs in tires inflated with air as the oxygen attacks the rubber molecules, working from the inside out, until the oxygen, and its destructive properties, permeates the tire structure and ultimately the tread.
